The monument is located in Yenice of Vardar (Giannitsa), southeast of the city, near Egnatia Street and the ruins of the mosque popularly known as the İskender Bey Mosque. It is the best preserved Ottoman monument in the city. The surviving mausoleum in Giannitsa was converted into a Greek Orthodox Church in 1948 under
