Krioneri Village is located 50 km southwest of Serres. After the population exchange in 1924, the village was settled by Orthodox people from Anatolia and the mosque was converted into a church. This mosque is registered in Ev.K.K. 757/49 with the words, Mehmed Pasha Mosque in Gırmıç village.
