The town of Pursuschan (Prosotsani) is located 18 km west of Drama. The Middle Mosque was located in the center of the town, at the intersection of present-day Agias Triados and Kiprou streets. The mosque, a rectangular building with wooden poles and a wooden roof, was converted into a church with the name Agia Triada after the Turkish-Greek population exchange (1924). The Middle mosque, which was used as a church until the 1970s, was demolished in these dates and today's church was built in its place.
